Since planning our wedding I have truly become more in love with everything that has to do with florals! Bouquets, centerpieces, archways, anything that you can put a flower on it or a florist can create I daydream about! All of my brides had some amazing pieces this year from their florists! It was wonderful to see all of their different tastes and personalities shine through this part of their wedding day! If you are planning your wedding check out some of these florists! You truly cannot go wrong with any of these talented florists!
This first bouquet was for Emma’s July elopement at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens. Fluttering Flowers created such a colorful bouquet for her summer day wedding! She paired that with a simple but elegant flower crown as well! These organic bouquets with pops of a deep marsala color for Jayme and Tony’s wedding made me fall in love with Isha Foss‘ designs! Isha Foss created Jayme’s bouquet to truly stand out! I loved how full and colorful it was and all of the different textures! Mary’s bouquet was created by Jacquelyn Collmus and was perfectly paired with her lace ballgown wedding dress! I loved the pops of light pink and how full her bridal bouquet was. Flaire Weddings & Events created this bouquet for my soon to be Sister-In-Law’s wedding day in Florida! I loved the long ribbon that matched the colors in the bouquet! These bouquets at Anna and Jimi’s wedding were vibrant and matched Anna’s bridesmaids dresses perfectly! They were created by Roost Flowers, who happens to be my Wedding Day Florist as well! These florals carried over perfectly to their reception and even their cocktail hour! Kelly Gish Floral Design made Rachel’s bouquet, below, and I was so excited to photograph it when I realized it could stand up on it’s own! (This is probably more exciting for photographers than brides!) I loved the leaves that came out on the side and the amount of different flowers Kelly used to create Rachel’s bridal bouquet. Sam and Hayley’s almost all white cascading bouquets were beautifully pared with their bridesmaids’ that had long champagne ribbons blowing in the wind. These were created by Leslie Hartig Floral Design. Kacee’s bouquet that was accented with a black and white ribbon was perfect for her color scheme and was another wedding this year that the florals were designed by Leslie Hartig Floral Design. The above bridesmaid bouquet is simple and delicate and goes perfectly with their standout gold bridesmaid dresses. I was excited to see Caitlin’s florals vibrant with oranges and corals because they popped against her bridesmaids’ navy blue dresses. They matched her bubbly and warm personality and were created by Black Iris Floral Events. Allison had her bouquet created by Norfolk Wholesale Florist. I loved the pale pink roses and textures of blues and greens and this was such a great option for her backyard summer wedding! Amanda and Jeremiah’s wedding day was my last wedding of 2016 and it was at the gorgeous Williamsburg Winery. I loved how colorful the roses were in Amanda’s bridal bouquet and how they chose to do ivory and light pinks in the bridesmaids! They go great against the darker purple shade of their dresses. These were all created by The Flower Cupboard in Williamsburg!
As you can see the options and different designs are endless when it comes to your Wedding Day flowers! My advice would be to work with your wedding florist and create something that you will love with your ideas and their expertise. I can’t wait to see what florals are chosen in 2017 from my brides and future brides! I cannot wait to see your ideas and dreams come to life through the work of your wedding vendors! If you were just recently engaged over the holidays, I am so excited for you to start your wedding planning and having fun with all of these details soon! Happy wedding planning!
