The year 2017 is already gearing up to be an amazing year! How could it not? It is the year that I am marrying my best friend, Cory! I also get to be apart of several of my friends and family member’s weddings and celebrate with them! I have met wonderful couples that I will be photographing this year on their special days as well! Before the entire year is booked up I wanted to put some Wish List things out there into the world, in hopes that more adventurous and heartfelt couples come across my blog!
I cannot explain to you enough how much I loved the year 2016 and it was largely in part of the couples that invited me into their lives. I loved seeing your love grow with your fiancé from the moment I met you to the moment you two saw each other on your wedding day. Love grows into something greater as we get older with our spouses and/or fiancés and to be able to bare witness to this for so many couples is one of the greatest honors I have in my life.
Your wedding day is one of the most special days in your lives together. I hope that you are able to plan a day that is true to what you both love. If you want to elope on a mountain, do that! If you want a grand estate wedding with all of your friends and family present, do that! If you want a combination of those mountain views but the comfort of a classic venue, you can 100% find that for you two! If you want something local but unique to both of your interest, do it! Options are truly endless nowadays and I am here to tell you to stay true to yourself and what you and your fiancé want for your wedding day. I will just be over here raising my hand to come photograph all of those adventures and moments for you!
Today, I am going to list out some of my Wish List venues and locations to photograph genuine and down to earth couples! If you are still searching for a venue this list may help you as well and if you are a bride or groom that is getting married at any of these venues I would love to hear from you!
