What involves champagne, best friends, confetti, sorority sisters, a puppy and even a few girls’ boyfriends? Well that is graduation portraits of course! Years ago, I graduated from Old Dominion University and I became an alumni of Alpha Xi Delta, a sorority on campus, as well! It is always fun this time of year to get to go back to the University’s campus and photograph my younger and beautiful sorority sisters! I am a big believer in celebrating your accomplishments, marveling in the moments that you want to remember forever and taking the time to tell yourself, “job well done.” That’s why it made me happy to be able to photograph these women during this accomplishment and celebration in their lives. I hope to stay in touch with them and see them again for future portraits and celebrations in their lives! Cheers and Congratulations are definitely in order for all of these bright women! These are a few portraits of the several graduation portraits that I had this past month!
First we did Fallon’s portraits and she brought several of her best friends and sorority sisters. Her boyfriend and their puppy came along for some as well, and of course I loved photographing their puppy! Brianna was the former President of Alpha Xi Delta and here is a fun fact, one year I was Vice President and my best friend, and also my Matron of Honor, was the President. We know just how much responsibility and obligations Brianna had! Kendra and Harley are actual sisters and sorority sisters on top of that! If you couldn’t tell, they’re twins! They were in some of Fallon’s portraits and it was great getting to meet them a week before their portraits! Congratulations Ladies! I hope you take this time to truly celebrate all of your accomplishments! Cheers!
