Wedding season is in full swing and I could not be happier than I am right now with the year thus far! I truly feel like I have made great relationships with all of my couples and I know that long after their wedding day I will still be in touch with them. This weekend I have two weddings, Caitlin & Ryan today and Ed & Scott tomorrow! Then after this weekend Cory & I fly to Florida for his sister’s wedding day, which I am photographing! To say I am EXCITED would be an understatement. After her wedding we will still have several days to visit with his parents and be on vacation together! Cory plans to take me kayaking where I am convinced it is alligator infested waters, so I hope you all will pray that I make it back alive! 😉
I have gotten to know Caitlin well since they booked me for their wedding day. I took her and her mom to lunch one afternoon when she was in town, where we talked a little about her wedding but the rest was just a couple of friends hanging out! I follow her and learn all about her love for running and have asked her for advice. She is also a business owner, selling a product that she believes and loves 100%! They live out of town so they opted not to have an engagement session, which I always love to photograph! But they eased my aching heart when we took some portraits of them at their rehearsal dinner last night! 😉 These two are the most welcoming people, they laugh without restraint and they truly care about people! I photographed a little bit of their rehearsal dinner at the Commonwealth Brewing Company and then they opted for ten minutes with me to relax, have a toast together, and be present with each other. I loved that I was able to give them a few private minutes for them to soak in all of what was taking place and you could feel their excitement!
For this Friday Recap I am busy packing up all of my camera gear and heading out for Caitlin & Ryan’s wedding day! Here are a few portraits of them last night at the Commonwealth Brewing Company! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
