In Kelsey & Brent’s own words to me, at their Hermitage Museum and Gardens wedding, their love grew fast and strong right out of the gate. They faced things together early on in their relationship, head on, which had them both realize that each other was the one for them. That is the whole point right? To find someone that you can live life with. The adventure, the good times, the trying times and the memorable moments when Brent makes Kelsey laugh to the point of crying, even if it’s with his corny Dad jokes! It is all important and spending it with your heart’s match is what life is all about!
Brent described finding his soulmate perfectly when I asked them a few weeks ago that I am called to copy and paste it right here for you all to read. If you had not noticed, Brent is basically writing their wedding blog post with all of the details he wrote to me!
When asked how he realized Kelsey was the one for him Brent answered, “When waking up, I want to talk to her before anyone else. Before going to bed, I want my last words to be with her. Whenever something interesting happens, she is the first person I want to tell. Love is all of these things, but also so much more. It is not a solid state emotion, but continues to grow through periods of happiness as well as periods of sadness/frustration/etc. It is being willing to look past the tough times to know that in the end, this person is worth all of it (the good and the bad times because the good outweighs the bad). I knew that first night that Kelsey was the girl I have been waiting for my entire life. She has everything I was looking for in a partner: intelligent, beautiful, witty, challenges me, but most importantly, the effect she has on me. Right from the beginning, I knew I could just be myself around her. We felt right. It was easy. I have never experienced those feelings before. That was the beginning. Times got hard, as they always do, and our future together became less clear. It took my ejection from my plane and near death experience to make everything crystal clear. Kelsey is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. To build a family with. To grow old with. So, long story short, I knew in August 2015.”
In case you couldn’t tell from those words alone, you are in for a treat to see today their Hermitage Museum and Gardens wedding! Their wedding was full of laughter, emotion and the best of friends by their side. Kelsey and Brent basked in each other’s presence all day and you can tell that they are content and happy to be next to each other. This Hermitage Museum and Gardens wedding is one you don’t want to miss! Congratulations to the newlyweds Kelsey and Brent!
