Anna and Jimi’s wedding day had a slight chance of rain, but you will see from their wedding photography that a drop of rain never happened! Grey washed succulents, coral and blush flowers and garlands filled the girls bouquets, their ceremony and their reception. Their wedding day had the most breathtaking color palette that I had the pleasure of photographing!
Anna and Jimi told me that some of their favorite things to do together involve being outside and being with their friends. These two were surrounded by the most genuine friends that kept the party going all the way to their sparkler exit. Anna’s bridesmaids “oohed” and “awed” as she got into her wedding dress! Her matron of honor could not do anything but place her hands on her own face and smile at Anna during this because she was overcome with happiness for her dear friend. When it came time for Anna to walk down the aisle to Jimi, everyone smiled from ear to ear! But while everyone was looking at Anna I looked over to photograph Jimi and his smile was by far the biggest and happiest that moment! Their ceremony was gorgeous on the front steps of Holly Ridge Manor and she sun shined perfectly onto the manor’s porch.
They told me that they were friends first before they ever thought about dating each other, but Anna and Jimi both said they knew each other was the one shortly after meeting each other. Things that are important to them are things like becoming a better person now that they were together, appreciating and not taking life to seriously and respect and commitment towards each other. These characteristics all played a part in realizing that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together. When Jimi told me, “I couldn’t imagine spending my time any other way because it’s with the love of my life,” and when I asked when he realized he was going to marry Anna he said, “The day that I found out that she likes mustard on her french fries,” this is things I like to hear from two people. The grandest reasons why we love our soulmate and the smallest characteristics that we notice, they all mean so much to the other person! When you have someone that notices and loves those small characteristics, you have found the love of your life. Congratulations Anna and Jimi!
