Katie and Chase’s had a wonderful House Mountain Inn Wedding day this past July. They stayed the weekend with their family and friends at House Mountain Inn and got to wake up too beautiful views of the mountains on their balconies the morning of their wedding.
The mountains views were a must for these two avid hikers and campers, just see their engagement photos with some of their hiking gear over the winter. On a fateful day where Katie met Chase at a nonprofit meeting they both volunteered for, Katie told her friend that she NEEDED to meet Chase and Chase wrote this about their meeting, “Basically Katie thought I was a stud,” and they both agreed that from there… it’s history.
To top it all off Chase wrote a letter two weeks after they started dating and kept it until the day he proposed to Katie. In the letter he wrote that he realized that he wanted home to be where Katie was, and that all he had to do from there was convince her that he was the one. Well, Chase I think you managed that because the way Katie talks about you is just as heartfelt and meaningful.
Their wedding day reflected all of what they love together and hold dear, they filled lots of pockets of time throughout the day to slow down and take it all in. Which is one of my favorite things to help do as their photographer. Katie and Chase it was such an honor to photograph this part of your story and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two. Congratulations!
