Jayme and Tony wrote to me that they met dancing the night way on the dance floor, and when you see their wedding reception you will understand why I think they were able to instantly fall in love with one another! Their smiles, laughter and carefree character at their wedding reception was a true sight to see. Their family and friends surrounded them on the dance floor and watched these two celebrate their wedding day! I normally do not start a wedding blog post about their dancing but I could not start it in a more perfect way than this for Jayme and Tony!
Jayme was so happy and calm while she was getting ready. It was not until we walked up to the car to travel to their first look that it began to make her emotional. I found a spot in First Landing that was secluded and after I got Tony ready, Jayme began to effortlessly walk towards him. Instant tears began to form in their eyes and I am convince if Jayme didn’t cover his eyes, we would have seen tears right then and there! Their first look was emotional, and absolutely breathtaking. Photographing the two of them embracing and holding onto each other so tight was beautiful.
When it came time for their vows, that they both wrote to each other, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place! They spoke about how they both found God and their religion again together, and how they made each other better. Their Pastor exemplified that when he spoke about what today’s world thinks is a “power couple”, but the real “power couples” are duos like Tony and Jayme. Because of this when we were wrapping up their portraits after the ceremony, I asked them to have a moment together, just the two of them, before we went back to the reception. As I stepped far enough away to where I could not hear them, and I could photograph it quietly, they prayed together.
Isha Foss designed an exquisite reception that was everything Jayme had dreamed of! You truly felt as if you were in a forrest filled with candles and rich colored flowers, amongst the greenery and other vines! After their epic dance party, they exited with a glow stick exit and by boat! This is the way to do a glow stick exit! Congratulations Jayme and Tony!
