Samantha and Hayley are two best friends, in every sense of the word. As best friends during college, they found themselves completely in love with each other! Once they both realized this they swept each other off the other’s feet and never looked back! They went through college with the same group of best friends, sorority sisters, and enjoyed making every fun memory together and on their wedding day it would be no different. I remember Samantha had said she was taught to, “marry your best friend when you grow up”, and on this rainy but beautiful day, that is exactly what Samantha and Hayley set out to do!
Surrounded by their family, friends, and sorority sisters Samantha and Hayley married each other on the steps of The Obici House during a break in the rain. Their vows were emotional, their bridesmaids cried along with them, and when they turned to be announced their joyous smiles said it all for us! They helped each other down the slick front steps and continued the celebration down the aisle and right into their reception. The weather never got to them even when it was raining during their first look, that was outside! I love all couples that embrace the rain with me! You could feel their love for each other and all of their guests throughout the day. I think Hayley said it best when I asked her what is the one characteristic of Samantha’s that is her favorite? Without hesitation Hayley said, “Sam just makes you feel loved, valued, and cared about. Everyone that comes into her life, she cares about, and she is good at showing you that she cares for you. I want to love like that and I cannot think of a better person to show me how to everyday than Sam.” Marriage is about two people, who are in love, coming together and making each other better when they are together. Someone who teaches you while you teach them, and someone who can be their when you need. I know Samantha and Hayley have found that and more in each other. I wish you all a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations!
