Micah and Joe had their dream mountain wedding at Sierra Vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They knew that they wanted to incorporate the mountains to their wedding day because it is such a big part of their relationship. They love being outdoors together and hiking and recently moved closer to the Charlottesville area. Joe also proposed to Micah while on a hike at Red Rock Canyon State park in Oklahoma. You may remember their Blue Ridge Mountains Engagement session with me as well!
Micah and Joe started their wedding getting ready with their closest friends by their side. Sierra Vista had the perfect accommodations for them both to get ready comfortably and enjoy the morning of their wedding day. We met up with Micah at the bridal suite and got to hangout with her and her bridesmaids, while she read a letter from Joe. Joe and Micah then choose to read each other their personal vows outside overlooking the mountains. They said their emotional vows back to back, fingers intertwined, and tears rolling down each other’s cheek. Micah grabbed onto Joe’s hand, comforting him as she wiped her tears with her tissue. Their entire wedding day was filled with emotion and it was such an honor to witness it!
Congratulations Micah and Joe!
