Today, I wanted to share a look into some of my wedding photography products for my couples. When a couple chooses me as their wedding photographer I enjoy being there for them through the entire process and marvel in photographing all of the moments that unfold throughout their wedding day. I don’t want to just show up on their wedding day. I want them to feel like they have a friend showing up for them, and that they have gotten to know me long before their wedding day arrives! I want them to truly feel that I wholeheartedly love what I do and am always honored to photograph a wedding day for a special couple.
With me, this time in their lives will be photographed in the most genuine and honest way. Photography is one of the few tangible items that they will have to reminisce about their day. Because of that, I take their experience with me to heart and want them to have tangible items that bring them back to their wedding day.
Below is a glimpse into just a part of all of my wedding photography collections for my couples that book me as their wedding photographer. These wedding photography products are only a part of what my couples receive with me and their is an additional surprise gift for them once their wedding photography is delivered to them. (I will keep that one under wraps though!)
So, what exactly is in these photographs below that you are looking at? First, it is a keepsake wooden box with the Jessica Ryan Photography logo engraved in it.
Once, you slide the lid off you will see a stack of photographs tied in a ribbon. These photographs range from some of my favorite candid photographs, Bride and Groom portraits, details and of course your first kiss as Husband and Wife! Then, their is a USB Drive that contains all of your high-resolution edited photographs of your wedding day. You will also receive an online gallery as well with your photographs to share with friends and family but this USB Drive is another tangible item and keepsake for you to have. Since I shared some behind the scenes of the wedding photography products that I offer with wedding photography collections, below are some behind the scene photographs of me in action on a few wedding days this year, so far!
You will catch me smiling behind my camera, as I am taking photographs throughout the day. This was during a wedding ceremony at the Chrysler Museum. I never go past the 4th row, so I am not intruding on your family members or getting to close to the two of you. Don’t worry! I have this long lens to get those close and personal photographs of your ceremony, and I don’t have to get in anyone’s way!
This photograph makes me instantly say, “One day, this land will all be yours.” You know, from the Lion King? In reality, I was giving Kelly somewhere to look. I never will say something or ask you to do something that leads to a question in your mind. I will show you where to look, like in this portrait below. I will give you both prompts to talk to each other, topics to talk about, instead of, “Whisper something sweet in the other’s ear.” I will prompt things like, “Stephen, whisper in Kelly’s ear the first thing you thought of when you caught your first glimpse of her as she walked down the aisle.” I like to start photographing your wedding day by photographing your details. This allows everyone to get use to the photographer being there and your details help tie your entire wedding day together. If you have remembrance pieces of jewelry, heirlooms, your engagement ring and wedding bands (both of your’s) this is a great time of day to photograph them.
If you are looking for a complete wedding photography experience. One where you can text your photographer asking for referrals to wedding cake bakers (this actually happened today) or the photographs from the moment you find your wedding dress and one you can grab coffee with (or wine or head to a brewery for a craft beer… I’m not picky) to catch up and hangout with each other, then I am that photographer you are looking for.
